An Elk Grove man was arrested yesterday afternoon on domestic abuse charges.
According to Elk Grove Police, 19-year old Derrick Bambula had allegedly physically and threatened his victim over the course of several months. As a result of the assaults, the vicitm has suffered visible injuries.
The suspect was arrested and taken to the county jail where he is currently being held. The victim was granted an emergency protective order.
