A 16-year old elk Grove female was arrested following an altercation with her mother.
According to Elk Grove Police Department reports, the suspect and her mother were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated in a physical confrontation. The daughter reportedly pick-up an aluminum bat and struck her mother on the leg resulting in a visible injury.
Responding officers arrested the suspect and transferred her to juvenile hall.
