Elk Grove Police Arrest Suspected Auto Thief, Found in Possession of Drugs

A suspect with an outstanding arrest warrant faces additional charges after being picked up by Elk Grove Police last night.

According to police department reports, officer served an arrest warrant last night on the 9800 block of Meadow Oaks Circle on 36-year old James Lee Blake of Elk Grove. A search of the suspect and his vehicle led to the discovery of  narcotics and narcotic paraphernalia.

Blake was arrested and is facing three misdemeanor drug charges and one felony grand theft auto felony charge. He is currently in custody and is being held on a $500,000 bail.
