Elk Grove Man Being Held on $570,000 Bail on Domestic Violence Charges

An Elk Grove man was arrested on domestic violence charges yesterday afternoon and is in custody on a $570,000 bail.

According to Elk Grove Police, 24-year old Regie Elvin Singh was involved in a verbal argument with his victim that escalated to physical confrontation. During the confrontation, Singh allegedly slapped the victim in the face and pushed the victim to the ground.

When the victim attempted to call 911, Singh allegedly took away the phone and prevented the victim from leaving. The victim sustained visible injures as a result of the attack.

Singh is in custody at the county jail on two felony and two misdemeanor charges.
