Elk Grove Man Arrested on Suspicion of Hit and Run, Drunk Driving

An Elk Grove man was arrested early Friday morning after he allegedly was involved in a hit and run accident. 

According to Elk Grove Police, 18-year old Jeremy King was operating a vehicle that was involved in a minor accident with a residential dwelling. Police contacted King at the scene of the accident on the 9600 block of La Nuez Drive and determined he was involved in a hit and run collision on the 9800 block Amenity Circle. 

Upon contact, King reportedly displayed objective signs of impairment and performed poorly on a field sobriety test. After he was medically cleared at an area hospital, the suspect was arrested and booked into the county jail.
