Elk Grove Man Arrested on Suspicion of Child Abuse

An Elk Grove man was arrested Monday afternoon on suspicion of child abuse.

According to Elk Grove Police, 35-year old Just McGowan was contacted on the 2300 block of Barn Swallow Court in regards to allegations of child abuse. The three victims reported that McGowan had hit them on the back of the head with a belt with one of the victims sustaining bruising to his head. 

McGowan admitted to police officers to disciplining the three victims with a belt. The suspect was arrested and taken to the county jail.
