A 19-year old Elk Grove woman was arrested early last night after she allegedly fled the scene of an auto accident.
According to Elk Grove Police, Jessica Rachael Fowler was involved in an accident but did not stop and exchange information with the other party. The other accident party followed Fowler and called 911 for assistance.
Responding officers were able to locate the car and initiated an enforcement stop. Upon contact, the suspect displayed objective signs of impairment and failed a field sobriety test.
Fowler was arrested and taken to the county jail were she was released earlier today.
