Elk Grove Police arrested a woman yesterday afternoon after she pepper sprayed her victim.
According to police reports, 26-year old Jessica Ruiz entered the residence of a 64-year old female due to a child custody dispute. When the two women became involved in a physical altercation, Ruiz reportedly applied the pepper spray to the victims face.
Ruiz fled the residence and was later arrested by police and taken to the county jail where she remains in custody.
