Shoplifters Arrested, Get Busted For Dope

Not only were two Sacramento men arrested yesterday afternoon for shoplifting, they also got busted for dope.


According to Elk Grove Police, 29-year-old Zachary England and 29-year-old Beau Brown entered the Radio Shack store on Elk Grove-Florin Road and began walking around the perimeter of the store before stopping in a corner of the store.

Store employees heard "cutting" sounds from the area where the suspects were standing. When both suspects exited the store, the theft sensors sounded and EGPD was contacted.

Responding officers located the suspects leaving in a vehicle and conducted an enforcement stop. Both suspects were detained, and a search of the vehicle led to the discovery stolen merchandise from Radio Shack along with narcotics.

Both men were arrested then transferred to the county jail.
