A 17-year-old male suspect was arrested early yesterday afternoon after being stopped for driving a bicycle with a vehicle code violation.
According to Elk Grove Police the teen was stopped near Ancestor Drive and Big Horn Drive. During the course of the contact, the suspect was found to be in possession of a switch blade.
A record check that the suspect was also a validated gang member. The tenn was taken into custody and transferred to juvenile hall.
