An Elk Grove man who was arrested Saturday afternoon on suspicion of domestic violence also took out his anger on an Elk Grove Police car.
According to Elk Grove Police reports, 20-year-old Robert Collins was involved in a verbal altercation that escalated into a physical confrontation. During the altercation, Collins is accused of punching his victim in the face several times resulting in visible injuries.
Responding officers arrested Collins and was placed in the rear seat of the police car. While in police car, Collins reportedly kicked out the left rear side window and bent the door frame.
After Collins was retrained, he was transferred to the county jail.
