Elk Grove Gas Station Held-up By Pajama Clad Suspect

A pajama wearing robber held up an Elk Grove gas station early Wednesday morning.

According to Elk Grove Police Department reports, the suspect entered the Chevron gas station on the 8200 block of Laguna Boulevard and demanded money from the employee after simulating he had a handgun. The suspect reached over the counter and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled the station on foot.

Officers arrived but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect was described as a black male, 35 to 42 years of age, 5’6” to 5’9”, 230-250 pounds and was wearing an orange t-shirt, with a light colored jacket over his arm, dark colored pajama bottoms and black slippers.
