Elk Grove Police arrested a 16-year old male suspected of selling drugs near Franklin High School.
According to police reports, officers responded to a call of a possible drug sale on the 5600 block of Whitelock parkway. When officers arrived, the juvenile suspect fled on foot.
Officers pursued the suspect on foot through several residential backyards and eventually detained him. A records check revealed the suspect had an active warrant for his arrest.
The suspect was taken into custody and transferred to juvenile hall.
