An Elk Grove man was shot during the middle of the day on Saturday afternoon as he was taking a walk.
According to Elk Grove Police, the 30-year old male victim was walking along the trail of Del Meyer Park on the 9200 block of Elk Grove-Florin when he was shot in the arm by an unknown person. Returning to his nearby apartment, the victim called 911.
The victim was unable to provide any detailed information to responding officers regarding the shooter. The victim was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment and was later released.
